On our way to #GlamStreetShow

RO: Plecasem din Cluj Napoca undeva in jurul orei 12, dupa o intalnire rapida la Marty Boulevard. De cu seara le-am anuntat pe fete ca mi-ar placea sa ne vedem la “o cafea” inainte de plecare sa ne cunoastem si sa petrecem cateva momente impreuna. Adevarul e ca de la cafea toata lumea ajuns sa comande cate un fresh, stabilisem deja ca expresia “ne vedem la o cafea” ramane doar o expresie. Drumul spre Bucuresti a fost destul de rapid si lipsit de peripetii. Dupa lasarea serii, am ajuns in Bucuresti; ascultam pe Digi FM dezbateri politice, pareri despre noul prim-ministru al Romaniei, Dacian Ciolos. Ca sa va-nchipuiti, am vorbi si despre asta, desi politica nu este punctul nostru forte. Am vorbit intr-una, tot drumul. 

Avand in vedere ca am ajuns mai devreme decat am planuit, le-am propus fetelor sa ne vedem la Chef’s Experience, sa luam cina si sa   punem la punct ultimele detalii inaintea evemimentului Glamour Street Style Fashion Show. Toata lumea era emotionata, poate pentru ca am asteptat ceva vreme sa ne intalnim face-to-face. Desigur schimbasem deja atatea emailuri si mesaje incat deja simteam ca ne stim de o viata, insa intalnirea in sine vine intotdeauna cu un gol in stomac, pentru ca ele m-au ales pe mine, iar eu le-am ales, mai departe, pe ele. Apropo, Cristina Pintilie a castigat titlul de ambasador Glam Smile Style si suntem mandre de ea.

 

EN:  We left Cluj at 12-and-something o’clock, after a quick meeting at Marty Boulevard. The evening before I told the girls I wanted to meet up and “grab a coffee” before we hit the road, so we can spend some time together. Truth be told, everyone ended up ordering orange juice, so we just laughed and agreed upon on fact: “let’s grab a cup of coffee” is just an expression and it should be always followed by “…or something”. Our road trip to Bucharest was quite fast and adventure-free. Shortly after the sunset we arrived in Bucharest; we were listening to some debates on Digi FM, some guys kept talking about our new prime minister, Dacian Ciolos – and we ended up talking about that, even if politics isn’t really our major. We just kept talking the entire road, we bonded somewhow.

Due to the fact that we arrived early, I suggested we should go out to dinner, so we met at Chef’s Experience where we had some cocktails and prepped up everything for Glamour Street Style Fashion Show. Everybody excited, maybe because we waited quite some time to meet, face-to-face. Of course, we’ve already exchanged so many emails and messages, we felt like we know each other since forever, but these meetings always come with butterflies in your stomach, because they chose me and I chose them. Unfortunately some of the girls couldn’t be there, but I can’t wait to meet them today. I know we’ll party tonight, as we always do. Btw, Cristina Pintilie won the Glam Smile Style contest held by Colgate and I’m #SuperProud of her.
